Rosetta has a passion for understanding people and a spirit that embraces the differences in people. She has devoted many years to training and education in the area of diversity. She has the unique ability to address sensitve issues in a lively, energetic and positive way. Her thought provoking workshops and seminars are aimed at increasing awarness, knowledge and buidling skills.

 

Rosetta Kincaid is the president of R. Kincaid Training and Consulting Inc. She offers over 15 years of experience as a diversity consultant, trainer, and facilitator.  Rosetta has worked as a diversity training facilitator for Oakland Community College for the past 14 years.  In this role she presents diversity  and communication workshops to staff and faculty.  Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix where for the past 9 years has taught online courses in; cultural diversity, college success, critical thinking, world religions. health care administration, and health and human  service technology.  Rosetta  also worked as a diversity trainer for Michigan Metro Girl Scouts Council for 15 years, training Girl Scout Leaders throughout Michigan on diversity and inclusion.

 

A highly talented facilitator, Rosetta collaborates with clients from where they are to where they want to be. Her participatory approach ensures that clients have the power to work together to turn a shared vision into a tangible sustainable and lasting goal.

 

Rosetta has designed, developed and facilitated hundreds of professional development workshops on a  variety of topics for organizations and businesses throughout Michigan.

 

Rosetta received her initial education and training as a Diversity Educator through the University of Michigan; school of education.

 

Rosetta has an M.Ed in Instructional Design and Performance Improvement and a BA in Sociology and Psychology from Wayne State University. Additionally, she has completed post masters courses in Distance Learning. Currently, Rosetta is completing a PhD in Psychology.

 

Rosetta's travels throughout Europe and Africa have allowed her to experience the richness of global diversity. Those experiences led to creating a service that helps businesses and organizations tap into the strength of a diverse workplace .  Workplace divesity is integral to an organization’s growth, development, and future success.
